This Indenture made the 21 March, 1961 between the Govrnor of Bihara (Hereinafter called the lessor which expression shall, where the contex of admits or implies include his successors in office and assigns) of one Part and Royal Government of Thailand (Hereinafter called the lessee which ecpression shall where the context of admits of imples include its successor in office represntatives and assigns) of the other Part.
Whereas the lessee is in possesion and ocupation of some land at Bodh-Gaya given in lease by the lessor under registered deed of lease dated loth April 1958.
And whereas the lessee has applied for permission to occupy further piece of land contiguous to the land held by the lessee as aforesaid at Bodh-Gaya in the District of Gaya, details of which are specified in the First Part of the Schedule hereunder written which has been acquired by the lessor under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act and as such is owned and possessed by the lessor. And whereas the said application has received the sanction of the lessor.

Now this Indenture witnesseth that the lessor doth hereby demise unto the lessee all the lands and promises specified in Part I of the Schedule with their appurtenances excepting and reserving unto the lessor all mines, mineral, mineral substances of every description, and clay in or under the premises hereby demised with full right and liberty at all times to do all act and things which may be necessary or expedient for the purposes searching the lessee reasonable compensations for all damages done. To hold the same upto the lessee from the 21st day of March for the term of ninety nine years yielding and paying the before a clear yearly rent of R.39.00 (Thirty nine) and the lessee hereby convenants with the lessor that will perform and abseve the term and conditions set-forth in the second Prot of the said Schedule.
